Area Sales Manager – Wholesale, Foodservice

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently acquire, develop and manage partners in wholesale, beverage wholesale (GFGH) and foodservice
- Expand distribution and secure new listings
- Develop assortment strategies for wholesale/GFGH and foodservice
- Ensure brand visibility and availability in the on-premise (hospitality) channel
- Use CRM to manage sales activities and priorities
- Analyze sales volume, revenue and distribution to derive action plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commercial education or equivalent qualification
- Experience in B2B sales, ideally in FMCG, beverage, food, foodservice, or functional food & beverage sectors
- Knowledge of the dynamics within wholesale, foodservice and hospitality
- Existing contacts with relevant customer groups or distribution partners are a plus
- Ability to acquire new customers and grow existing relationships
- Understanding of functional beverages and protein-rich snacks
- Structured, execution-focused and results-oriented working style
- High willingness to travel within Germany and a valid Class B driving license
