About the role
- Report directly to the CEO and act as a strategic advisor within a high impact, entrepreneurial environment.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities by introducing Vitalief’s consulting and FSP offerings to clinical research clients.
- Cultivate and expand executive-level relationships across sponsors, CROs, and research sites to become a trusted partner.
- Create and execute targeted account plans and business development strategies to exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand client challenges and recommend customized solutions that drive measurable impact.
- Lead the creation of proposals, presentations, and Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Represent Vitalief at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build visibility and drive pipeline growth.
Requirements
- 7 or more years of business development experience with a primary focus on selling within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of solution-based consulting services or professional services selling in the clinical research industry.
- Some experience selling FSP services is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus.
- Demonstrated consultative selling experience is a must, collaborating cross-functionally to understand client challenges and recommend customized solutions that drive measurable impact.
- Experience working with internal teams to create and deliver value-add solutions business proposals to clients.
- Proven success obtaining Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and expanding business within existing accounts.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to build credibility and rapport at all organizational levels.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
- Strategic thinker and creative problem solver with a results-driven mindset.
- Capable of managing a robust sales pipeline and exceeding revenue and profit goals.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and experience with CRM tools (i.e., HubSpot, Salesforce).
