About the role
- Prepare and execute monthly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Process vendor invoices, ensure timely and accurate payments, and maintain accurate AP records.
- Review, process, and record employee and contractor expense submissions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Generate and issue invoices, track collections, and maintain accurate AR records.
- Assist with payroll processing through ADP, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, including monthly close, AP/AR, expense processing, and payroll support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) required.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience with ADP payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes.
- Familiarity with HubSpot preferred but not required.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and time management abilities; able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
