About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate high-level business objectives into actionable marketing strategies and tactical plans that drive engagement, retention, and growth.
  • Own the content lifecycle by developing a robust strategy and producing high-impact thought leadership pieces that position VITAL WorkLife as an industry authority with B2B decision-makers.
  • Act as a lead writer and/or editor for marketing assets, including blog posts, newsletters, and digital content.
  • Develop clear, concise communications and plans including client emails/newsletters and internal/external talking points to ensure consistent messaging across all audiences.
  • Create compelling copy for flyers and collateral, working closely with designers to ensure visual and verbal alignment.
  • Plan and execute the end-to-end logistics for virtual and in-person events and/or sponsorships, including webinars, industry conferences, and trade shows.
  • Manage all operational aspects of event participation, from registration and platform setup (Zoom Webinars) to post-event follow-up and lead capture.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, Clinical, and Product teams to align marketing efforts with business goals, driving acquisition and retention.
  • Ensure every touchpoint—from mobile app content to website copy—is clear, consistent, and reinforces VITAL WorkLife's brand positioning.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B/B2C marketing, with emphasis on content strategy and professional writing (ideally in healthcare or insurance).
  • Hands-on expertise with HubSpot marketing automation and Zoom Webinars is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex clinical or business concepts.
  • A strong and proactive ownership mentality with a proven ability to manage complex projects and translate data into creative storytelling.
  • Willingness to travel to conferences, events, company, or team meetings as needed (10% - 25%).
  • Willingness to embrace change and adapt strategies dynamically with continuous improvement.
  • Embraces a growth mindset with a demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn emerging AI tools and technologies, using them to work smarter and amplify marketing impact.
