About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct 10–15 minute in-person interviews with participants at the day center using a company-issued tablet
- Be punctual, work independently, and remain unbiased when conducting interviews
- Keep organized interview records and update the Vital Research team daily on completed interviews, refusals, and related information
- Build positive relationships with customers and comprehend customer feedback
- Use a personal cell phone and email address to stay in regular contact with Vital Research
- Comply with confidentiality, federal HIPAA regulations, and data security requirements
- Be available between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm during assignments, with actual hours varying
- Complete mandatory hybrid training during the week of August 31st
- Conduct interviews throughout the state of Ohio after successfully passing training
- Work may not be continuous and depends on the availability of interview assignments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Comfort interacting with older adults and demonstrating concern and sensitivity to issues of disability, illness, and communication challenges
- Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate skillfully and in a timely manner via email and phone
- Proficient with email, uploading/downloading files, Internet use, and troubleshooting possible technical glitches
- Personal computer or other selected device with access to view and modify MS Excel and access the internet
- Personal phone and reliable wireless Internet
- Ability to read, type, and record responses accurately
- Ability to follow structured protocols to comply with confidentiality and federal HIPAA regulations
- Ability to adhere to a business casual dress code and other personal requirements
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Familiarity with older adults, nursing homes, assisted living, or adult daycare centers preferred
- Interviewing experience preferred
