About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct 10–15 minute in-person interviews with participants at the day center using a company-issued tablet
Be punctual, work independently, and remain unbiased when conducting interviews
Keep organized interview records and update the Vital Research team daily on completed interviews, refusals, and related information
Build positive relationships with customers and comprehend customer feedback
Use a personal cell phone and email address to stay in regular contact with Vital Research
Comply with confidentiality, federal HIPAA regulations, and data security requirements
Be available between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm during assignments, with actual hours varying
Complete mandatory hybrid training during the week of August 31st
Conduct interviews throughout the state of Ohio after successfully passing training
Work may not be continuous and depends on the availability of interview assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Comfort interacting with older adults and demonstrating concern and sensitivity to issues of disability, illness, and communication challenges
Strong organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate skillfully and in a timely manner via email and phone
Proficient with email, uploading/downloading files, Internet use, and troubleshooting possible technical glitches
Personal computer or other selected device with access to view and modify MS Excel and access the internet
Personal phone and reliable wireless Internet
Ability to read, type, and record responses accurately
Ability to follow structured protocols to comply with confidentiality and federal HIPAA regulations
Ability to adhere to a business casual dress code and other personal requirements
Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and automobile insurance
Familiarity with older adults, nursing homes, assisted living, or adult daycare centers preferred
Interviewing experience preferred
