Key responsibilities & impact

Operate and monitor automated production equipment to ensure efficient and consistent manufacturing output.
Perform routine machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers to maintain production schedules and product specifications.
Conduct in-process quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.
Identify and address production issues or equipment abnormalities, escalating concerns to maintenance or supervision as needed.
Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and machine guarding protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation, including batch records and inspection logs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Perform basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure reliable operation.
Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve operational issues and maintain production flow.
Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required.
Demonstrated ability to stay organized and maintain accurate production or quality records.
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to enter data and navigate production or quality tracking systems.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow established procedures.
Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification through company-provided training.
