VP of Sales

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for each business unit.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and key-customer technology roadmaps.
- Work with HQ and various Vital sites to determine pricing strategies and sales tactics.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the business unit leaders and sales team.
- Set performance metrics and regularly assess and improve team performance.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding the customer base and increasing sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics and KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain product quality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership and achievement of revenue targets.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of industry-specific trends and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with sales software and CRM systems.
- Adept at managing budgets and financial performance.
