About the role
- Provide high-quality member support via phone, email, and chat (5 days/week including weekends)
- Assist members with insurance education, eligibility, and enrollment — including ICHRA and HRA plan details and ACA marketplace options
- Submit insurance applications to carriers and own cases through approval
- Answer benefit-specific questions and troubleshoot carrier or cross-functional issues
- Help members navigate the healthcare system and understand their coverage
- Coordinate resources for members needing services outside Vitable's scope
- Identify and escalate recurring issues to improve the member experience
Requirements
- Active health insurance license required (or willingness to obtain one)
- 2+ years of experience in customer support, member services, or insurance operations
- Familiarity with ICHRA, HRA, or ACA marketplace plans strongly preferred
- Empathetic, confident communicator — especially on the phone
- Availability to work 5 days/week including weekends (required)
- Experience with HubSpot, Zendesk, or similar tools a plus
