About the role
- Serve as the internal advocate for consumer and shopper, ensuring needs and motivations drive decisions
- Act as a strategic partner to Marketing and Innovation teams, embedding insights into brand and innovation decisions
- Develop learning agendas and conduct primary and secondary research
- Synthesize diverse data sources to craft narratives and answer business questions
- Design and manage research initiatives with external agencies
- Audit current insights capabilities and recommend enhancements
- Introduce innovative research methodologies and tools
- Analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and provide optimization recommendations
- Proactively identify and solve high-priority business questions and present findings to cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Stay ahead of trends driving natural and functional beverage consumption and translate them into strategic implications
- Frequent cross-functional collaboration and exposure to senior leadership
- Reports to the Senior Director of Category & Consumer Insights; based out of NYC headquarters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of consumer and/or shopper insights experience
- Strong track record partnering with Brand/Marketing teams and managing external vendors
- CPG experience required; beverage industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in mining panel data sources (e.g., Numerator, Circana)
- Experience designing and executing quantitative and qualitative research
- Experience coordinating multicultural research and applying cultural insights preferred
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Natural curiosity and desire to learn
