About the role
- Responsible for identifying and landing high-value prospects for the sale of Corporate Solutions (Accounting, Tax, Payroll, etc.)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
- Strategically focus on maximizing expansion and cross-sell opportunities
- Nurture leads and develop initial relationships with assigned new business accounts
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for prospects to ensure targets are met and exceeded
- Create individual strategic account plans for priority prospects
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs
- Leverage Subject Matter Experts to provide technical expertise
- Collaborate with EAM and SME to negotiate and close new business
Requirements
- At least 4 years of Business Development experience, preferably within Professional services
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect, convert and deliver new revenue
- Desirable – accounting, legal or company secretarial qualification
- A self-starter with a mature and established intermediary network as well as direct client relationships with potential new business opportunities
- An entrepreneurial and solution minded individual
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritise
- Proactive, self-motivated leader with ambition, energy and drive
