About the role
- Provide comprehensive operations and analysis support in multiple functional and programmatic areas
- Track office requirements
- Handle formal coordination of DoD correspondence and taskers
- Manage recurring stakeholder meetings
- Prepare reports, presentations, and executive communications
- Analyze and draft policies and assess compliance with laws, regulations, and recommendations
- Draft clear and concise written products with high attention to detail
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift focus to address changing priorities
- Provide clear verbal and written communications to various stakeholders in alignment with DoD style expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of directly related experience working in the DoD, VA, or other Federal agency
- 3+ years of program analysis, policy, or strategic communications experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to draft clear and concise written products with high attention to detail (e.g., briefings, action memoranda)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift focus to address changing priorities
- Ability to critically think, examine complex issues, and identify/strategically communicate gaps and possible solutions
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
