About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identifies and performs task as required to meet objectives
  • Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues associated with thermal performance of the Vistra nuclear units
  • Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion
  • Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Provides oversight of vendor activities such as tests and walkdowns
  • Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues
  • Participate in and on occasion lead special projects and committees including external organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 yrs. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) from an ABET accredited program.
  • Minimum 6 yrs. relevant job experience (Ideal)
  • Nuclear experience preferred
  • Experience in thermal performance analysis of steam cycle components and systems preferred
