About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development and deployment of AI and advanced analytics solutions to improve equipment reliability, maintenance strategies, and fleet performance
Identify high-value use cases across all Fleet departments to integrate solutions into existing workflows
Drive adoption of new technologies by coordinating training, developing practical use cases, and supporting end users
Partner with site teams and corporate groups to ensure solutions are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with fleet priorities
Monitor solution performance and continuously refine tools based on real-world impact and lessons learned
Represent the organization in industry groups, vendor engagements, and research initiatives to bring proven ideas and best practices back internally
Develop clear documentation, guidance, and standards to support long-term sustainability of deployed solutions
Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, value delivered, and emerging opportunities
Drive a culture of innovation by challenging traditional approaches and identifying new ways to improve safety, performance, and cost.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, computer science, data analytics, or similar) OR equivalent experience
3–7 years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or applied AI
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one ML/analytics framework
Experience applying AI, data analytics, or digital tools in a business or operational environment
Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on practical, implementable solutions
Ability to work across organizations and influence without direct authority
Clear, concise communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Self-starter who can identify opportunities, take ownership, and deliver results
Comfortable working in an evolving space with emerging technologies.
