Senior Human Resources Manager – Nuclear Fleet
Vistra Corp.Senior HR Manager partnering with nuclear management to implement HR policies and drive performance in a global energy company. Focused on consulting, employee relations, and governance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish partnerships and maintain close relationships with nuclear management to recognize, identify, and understand business trends, issues, goals and needs for present and future business initiatives.
- Provide strategic human resource insight and guidance on organization issues and business implications pertaining to specific projects and initiatives.
- Direct implementation of new or revised HR programs and/or policies through effective communications and training of nuclear managers and employees.
- Provide ongoing consulting and support services to business unit managers in the execution/delivery of HR programs and policies as well as guidance related to the management of their employees.
- Manage HR projects and initiatives by coordinating and collaborating with nuclear management to develop and implement programs and processes to meet business needs.
- Provide coordination regarding Employee Relations, including the discipline process, between the fleet nuclear team, HR and the legal department.
- Support Employee Relations in timely completion of required regulatory filings and specific regulatory inquiries.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 or more years of progressive, related professional HR experience
- Experience partnering/working with nuclear organizations is a plus.
- Demonstrated success and experience in consulting on and driving Compensation, Performance Management, Staffing and Learning and Development
- Demonstrated leadership and customer focus skills
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
- Certification as SPHR/PHR or SHRM-SCP/CP desired
- Demonstrated success in Project Management
- Knowledge of employment law and current HR trends
- Minimum education is HS Diploma or equivalency.
