About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and supervise the daily operational execution of the MRT technician team.
  • Assign resources, coordinate response coverage, and support technician deployment in alignment with operational priorities.
  • Provide frontline leadership, coaching, and accountability for technical execution, conduct, communication, and documentation standards.
  • Partner with Maintenance Control, QA, leadership, and other stakeholders to support safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance execution.
  • Monitor team workload, travel readiness, fatigue considerations, tooling readiness, and schedule effectiveness.
  • Review maintenance execution trends, technician performance, operational delays, and repeat issues, escalating concerns and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, development, and progression of MRT technicians.
  • Reinforce compliance with approved maintenance data, company procedures, safety expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support incident review, root cause follow-up, and continuous improvement efforts related to field maintenance execution.
  • Promote a high-performance, highly accountable, service-oriented MRT culture that supports the Vista operation.
  • Assist lead technicians and supervisors with any other work-related tasks, as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Previous lead, supervisor, or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Certified under Title 14 CFR Part 65 (Airframe and Powerplant license required).
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently and manage complex maintenance tasks.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems on aircraft.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be eligible for domestic and international travel and required operational access.
  • High School Diploma
