About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with members of the product team, UX design, and engineering to execute the product vision and strategy.
- Research market opportunities and trends to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of the products in your ownership.
- Develop a deep understanding of user behaviors and product usage to share insight and drive improvements.
- Define, track, implement, and monitor KPIs for digital products, including feature usage, customer satisfaction, and learning efficacy.
- Collaborate with product development teams (UX design, engineering, QA), ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring products meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and align with budget constraints.
- Conduct market research, including user interviews and analysis of competitors that contribute to product enhancements and innovations.
- Develop clear requirements for new product features and tools, ensuring engineers understand direction and can effectively develop based on them.
- Execute product roadmaps aligned to the product vision and strategic organizational goals.
- Report on product roadmap milestones and goals.
- Apply frameworks to prioritize features based on sound estimations of business value and complexity.
- Run hypothesis-driven experiments to drive sound product decisions.
- Oversee product development across agile teams, including feature backlog, bug management, and task assignment.
- Analyze user data and make sound inferences to answer questions and support decision-making.
- Develop fluency in the underlying architecture, codebase, and technologies of the product platform.
- Partner with UX/UI design to implement intuitive and user-friendly designs, incorporating feedback from user research and usability testing.
- Coordinate and champion user research and visual user workflows to provide clarity of product goals.
- Support and embrace a diverse team of product managers; remain open to learning from everyone on the team.
- Develop impactful relationships across the organization to effectively bring others into the work happening in the product space.
- Support oversight of third-party vendors associated with the product portfolio.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure effective product launches and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, translating them into actionable product improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in an industry-relevant field: Computer Science, Software engineering, Education, Business Administration, etc.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, or related role
- Demonstrated ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams in the business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead and document market research and data analysis
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to quickly learn new technical product domains
