About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate, track, find solutions for, and resolve technical support issues and questions
- Test solutions before deploying them to production
- Understand program code and error logs
- Log software bugs in collaboration with clients, team members, vendors, and third parties around the world
- Install and configure Vista Group software remotely and onsite for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and onboarding
- Collaborate across regions and departments on diverse tasks, initiatives, ad hoc work, temporary assignments, and structured rotation programs
- Learn about MS SQL Server relational databases and use T-SQL queries to investigate and solve problems
- Become knowledgeable about Vista Group software and the cinema industry
- Upskill and train clients, team members, vendors, and third parties through documentation and training sessions
- Build strong relationships with clients and team members
- Provide urgent after-hours support on a bi-monthly rotation
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements

- Knowledge or interest in the cinema industry
- Knowledge in MSSQL Server and T-SQL and base level understanding of relational databases
- Working knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, and networking
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with theatre or restaurant POS systems
