About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the identification, engagement, and acquisition of new enterprise clients in specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology organizations.
- Develop and execute strategic outbound initiatives, including executive-level networking, thought leadership engagements, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Qualify and prioritize opportunities to align Visium’s AI & Data capabilities with client business objectives.
- Conduct discovery meetings with C-level and senior stakeholders to understand critical business challenges, regulatory considerations, and innovation priorities in life sciences.
- Shape tailored proposals and presentations that demonstrate how Visium’s solutions accelerate R&D, optimize operations, and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful execution of client projects and measurable impact.
- Mentor and develop junior business development and client engagement professionals, fostering commercial acumen and domain expertise in life sciences.
- Drive a culture of collaboration across sales, delivery, and marketing teams to maximize client impact and market presence.
- Maintain deep knowledge of AI & Data platforms, cloud infrastructure, data engineering best practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6 - 8 years of experience in business development, client engagement, or strategic consulting, ideally within the Life Sciences or Specialty Chemicals sector.
- Proven ability to drive enterprise client acquisition and revenue growth in complex, regulated industries.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and fostering commercial and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with executive-level stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and highly results-oriented.
- Fluent in English, German/French will be considered as a plus.
