About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, configure, commission, support, and maintain the Vision RT product portfolio at customer sites
  • Conduct site surveys and assess installation readiness
  • Deliver remote and on-site technical support for software, hardware, operating system, and connectivity issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, software updates, and product enhancements
  • Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows-based systems and associated devices
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and communication issues with customer IT teams
  • Maintain service documentation, installation records, maintenance reports, and customer activity logs
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide responsive technical service
  • Travel throughout the assigned US region for installations, maintenance, training, and customer requests
  • Perform physical installations, including mounting wall monitors, routing communication cables up to 50 metres, and installing equipment
  • Work safely on ladders and with third-party contractors in construction, hospital, and clinical environments
  • Participate in evening and occasional weekend work
  • Travel to customer sites at short notice when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including configuration, Device Manager, disk and storage management, BIOS and firmware, Windows services and security settings, and Event Viewer
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving software, operating system, and hardware issues in a customer-facing environment
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, security principles, protocols, and ports
  • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity using ping, tracert, ipconfig, and remote support applications
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, system hardening, and customer IT security requirements
  • Solid PC hardware knowledge, including component replacement, peripheral configuration, connectivity, and performance
  • Experience delivering remote and on-site technical support
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service focus
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple customer locations
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow installation, maintenance, and service procedures
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the US, up to 90% of working time, including frequent overnight and occasional weekend travel
  • Ability to work on ladders and in active construction, hospital, and clinical environments while following PPE and site-safety requirements
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments is desirable
  • Basic understanding of SQL databases and connectivity is desirable
  • Familiarity with RAID technologies and storage systems is desirable
  • Healthcare technology, medical device, radiotherapy, medical imaging, or regulated-environment experience is desirable
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent industry-recognised qualifications are desirable
