About the role
- Install, support, and maintain Vision RT product range
- Perform site surveys ensuring all aspects of installation requirements are met in line with Vision RT processes and procedures
- Provide reactive breakdown support (remote and on site)
- Provide planned maintenance/upgrade support (remote and on site)
- Plan and perform installations in line with Vision RT installation processes & procedures
- Liaise with customers and our installers
- Travel to different hospitals throughout the region, with occasional responsibilities in other parts of the state on an ad hoc basis, and periodic travel to other states to provide coverage during PTO and similar needs
- Deliver high quality service and support to customers across the region
- May work evenings and occasional weekends as required
Requirements
- Strong IT background required including supporting Microsoft environment workstations
- Device networking and database troubleshooting
- Supporting external and internal customers in the Field Service Engineers territory
- PC hardware skills including replacing PC components and diagnostics
- Highly motivated customer focused engineer with excellent customer facing and technical problem-solving skills
- Comfortable interfacing with clients and other stakeholders at all levels of their organization
- Results orientated with a “Can Do” attitude and clear enthusiasm for excelling in customer satisfaction
- Excellent fault-finding skills; troubleshooting utilizing Event Viewer; Error Logs; Debug
- Experienced field engineer with electromechanical and IT skills, ideally from medical or IT industry
- Ability to drill and mount mechanical bracketry in raised ceilings
- Ability to read and work with technical drawings and architects’ drawings
- A+ and Microsoft certifications a plus
- SQL knowledge is preferred
- Experience with Medical Devices, ideally Medical Imaging or Radiotherapy
- Field-based availability with up to 80% travel; availability for evening work and occasional weekends
- Candidates need to be based in Indianapolis, or near major airport in Indiana/West Michigan

- The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $70,000 to $90,000 per year with opportunities for generous overtime and travel pay.
