About the role

  • Responsible for quality, risk and reliability management of mechatronic systems across the entire product lifecycle
  • Planning and conducting risk analyses (FMEA/FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis, Hazard Analysis)
  • Preparation and evaluation of reliability analyses (MTBF, Weibull analyses, lifetime forecasts)
  • Defining and monitoring quality requirements in development and industrialization projects
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
  • Implementing and further developing quality methods (APQP, PPAP, 8D, Root Cause Analysis)
  • Managing verification and validation activities as well as reliability testing
  • Analyzing field data and deriving improvement measures
  • Facilitating design reviews and gate decisions
  • Interface management with development, production, suppliers and customers

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in quality and/or reliability management of technical systems
  • Solid knowledge of FMEA, RAMS, statistical analysis and life cycle modeling
  • Experience with normative requirements for functional safety is an advantage
  • Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Assertiveness and strong facilitation skills
  • Very good German and English language skills
