About the role

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within target accounts in UK Defence, Space, and IT Services industries through strategic outreach, networking, and social selling.
  • Generate your own leads and book a high volume of qualified meetings to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Become an expert on the VisibleThread platform and deliver tailored product demonstrations that articulate value and solve prospect challenges.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
  • Diligently track all sales activities, update customer information, and manage pipeline in CRM (Salesforce).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2B sales role within SaaS.
  • Demonstrated high-performing Sales/Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR) experience considered for progression.
  • Proven track record of prospecting for new business and exceeding targets (hunter mentality).
  • Technically savvy with ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to present and demonstrate to senior stakeholders.
  • Empathy and customer-perspective understanding.
  • Energetic, resilient, positive and tenacious attitude.
  • Based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
  • Nice to haves: Direct experience selling into Defence & Aerospace, Central Government, or IT Services sectors.
  • Nice to haves: Familiarity with complex procurement processes, proposal writing, or bid management.
  • Nice to haves: Experience using CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot.
