About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define commercial targets
  • Analyze the market, competitors and the assigned portfolio
  • Define and obtain approval for new-client acquisition targets by industry sector and region (Hauts-de-France, Paris)
  • Identify key accounts within the portfolio
  • Propose and obtain approval from management for prospecting methods and portfolio development actions
  • Build, manage and grow a pipeline of prospects in your geographic territory
  • Use the defined prospecting channels: direct telephone prospecting, representing the company at trade shows and other events
  • Analyze prospects' needs and assess project feasibility
  • Respond to tenders/RFPs and draft commercial proposals
  • Present the company's products and services and its strengths to prospects
  • Deliver product demonstrations
  • Negotiate pricing terms with prospects in accordance with the company’s commercial policy
  • Make the case, negotiate pricing terms and close the sale
  • Analyze margins on sold projects
  • Record and maintain customer and prospect records in the company's CRM system

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in a similar role
  • Commercial acumen: excellent negotiation skills, full sales cycle management and results-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships and retain customers
  • ERP competency: good understanding of business needs and ability to recommend appropriate solutions
  • Autonomy & organization: effective time and priority management
  • Resilience & ambition: perseverance, competitive drive and performance-oriented motivation
  • Tool proficiency: experience using a CRM and delivering structured reporting
