About the role
- Act as the focal point assigned to an automotive client, actively participating in governance committees, decision-making forums and project follow-up rituals.
- Support the technical and strategic management of innovation programs, focusing on the correct use of MOVER, continuous process improvement and maximizing utilization of tax incentives.
- Build an ecosystem using Power BI, SharePoint and programming to integrate all client tax incentive data (MOVER, Lei do Bem and Fomento).
- Map, monitor and structure funding opportunities, including preparation, submission and follow-up of projects with funding agencies.
- Prepare technical reports, executive presentations and supporting documentation for technical and financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Conduct structured interviews and interactions with technical and innovation areas, promoting active listening and extracting strategic information to qualify projects.
- Maintain continuous interface with Tax, Accounting, Engineering, Innovation and Legal departments, ensuring technical and institutional alignment.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, technical visits, workshops and events related to the R&D&I, innovation and sustainability ecosystem.
- Automate extraction of data from SAP for insertion into the ecosystem.
- Apply incentive program regulations as business rules (e.g.: apply different return percentages in MOVER Inciso I and Inciso II; apply TPA rules for selected projects – electric vehicle, among others).
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and implement automations for repetitive tasks.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Control & Automation Engineering or related fields.
- Alternative degrees will be considered provided the candidate has proven practical experience in innovation, tax incentives and the automotive sector.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry, with roles in innovation, engineering, strategy, R&D&I or consulting.
- Technical knowledge of innovation tax incentives, such as Lei do Bem and MOVER, with the ability to interface technically with Tax and Accounting areas.
- Experience in specialized consultancies or companies that use tax incentives to enable Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) projects.
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Salesforce and Power BI.
