About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide consultative and strategic advice on real estate matters;
Draft, review and negotiate mid- to high-complexity real estate contracts;
Work on transactions involving purchase and sale, leasing, built-to-suit, property swaps (permuta), property regularization, asset structuring and other instruments related to the sector;
Conduct analyses of land registry entries (matrículas), certificates, corporate documents, property registries and other documents required for transactions;
Perform real estate, contractual and document due diligence, identifying risks and proposing legal solutions;
Support clients on matters related to property development (incorporação imobiliária), condominiums, shopping centers, leases, property regularization and liaison with notary offices and public authorities;
Prepare legal opinions, memoranda, strategic reports and decision-support materials;
Manage legal risks related to real estate transactions;
Conduct negotiations with clients, opposing parties, suppliers, creditors, notary offices, municipal authorities and other stakeholders;
Support the structuring and organization of legal workflows, internal controls, KPIs and departmental routines;
Interface with business areas such as Sales, Operations, Finance, Engineering and New Business;
Provide technical guidance to more junior team members.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree (completed);
Active OAB registration;
Proven experience in Real Estate Law;
Experience drafting, analyzing and negotiating complex real estate contracts;
Experience in due diligence, property regularization and document analysis;
Knowledge of registry, notarial, corporate and contractual matters applicable to the real estate market;
Ability to work autonomously on strategic matters;
Strong business acumen and ability to support internal and external clients in decision-making;
Excellent legal writing skills;
Analytical and organized profile with strong prioritization skills;
Good communication skills and a consultative approach.
