Key responsibilities & impact

Directly manages a team of Project Managers and owns the client facing project management function
Manages, develops, and grows a team of project managers
Accountable for development and execution of the client-facing project operating model
Partners closely with Finance, Field Operations, and Client Services Leaders
Ensures effective financial reporting, project budgeting, and forecasting
Supports contracted projects and operates as an architect behind the scenes
Equips Project Managers to lead proactively, own outcomes, deliver to contractual standards, and manage financial performance
Defines what ‘great delivery’ means at Visante
Owns utilization management and project budget performance expectations for PM team
Establishes delivery standards, templates, and governance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Health Administration, or a related field
In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 years of relevant experience
10+ years of project/program/delivery leadership experience within consulting, professional services, managed services, or healthcare-related environments
5+ years of direct people leadership experience managing Project Managers, including setting expectations, performance management, and team builds
Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements or health system–focused implementation projects, including enterprise deployments, change adoption, and complex multi-stakeholder delivery environments
Proven track record creating financial accountability in delivery teams (utilization management, project budget performance, forecasting discipline)
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project/program management certification
