About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagements by identifying potential opportunities
- Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations addressing impactful opportunities and challenges
- Build solutions and actionable insights to help clients grow their portfolios
- Partner with peers in marketing, sales, risk, innovation, and global regional teams to execute projects
- Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, understand client issues, and guide client priorities
- Manipulate and analyze large industry and Visa datasets to determine meaningful insights and recommendations
- Build scalable solutions, toolkits, best-practice documents, and consulting approaches for the VCA practice
- Develop enduring strategic relationships with internal and external clients
- Deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics, and high-impact solutions to support client growth and performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 2 years with an Advanced degree, or 0 years with a PhD
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years with an Advanced degree, or 0 years with a PhD, in management consulting, strategy, or business analytics
- Strong analytical skills and experience deriving insights from complex datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience building executive-level presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with or consulting for Retailers, including retail operations, customer experience, and digital transformation
- Prior experience in a top-tier consulting firm or strategic role within a retail organization
- Familiarity with payment systems, customer loyalty programs, or digital commerce trends
- Travel 5–10% of the time
