About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers focused on platform security and configuration capabilities
- Hire and onboard technical talent aligned with team goals and company culture
- Own the technical vision and roadmap for the Control Center’s core services
- Collaborate with product and design teams to align technical solutions with client needs
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, code quality, and system performance
- Monitor and guide system modifications to maintain high security and compliance standards
- Track team progress, align goals, and enforce engineering best practices
- Communicate plans and progress consistently to ensure visibility and alignment with stakeholders
- Represent the team’s strategy and roadmap with clarity and consistency
- Conduct risk analysis and proactively identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience
- 7+ years of experience in software development as a software engineer, quality engineer, project manager, and/or agilist
- Proficiency in English at B2 level (Advanced)
- Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven leadership experience in people and project management
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and production support
- Experience developing secure, scalable corporate web applications
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD, observability, and system architecture.
