About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop subject matter expertise on EMV 3DS specifications and Visa Secure programs and features
Collaborate with global/regional product teams, client services, and core product teams to define and refine product enhancements and the roadmap
Work with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications
Drive end-to-end product development from concept to launch
Define project milestones, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
Develop documentation for product enhancements and supporting requirements
Identify and prioritize features based on customer and market insights, business objectives, and technical requirements
Provide technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams
Provide technical support and consultation to issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, and 3-D Secure vendors
Analyze product performance and identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
Build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional team leaders across Visa

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 3 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years of work experience with a PhD in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems/Business required or equivalent technical experience
Ideally, MS/MBA or technical certifications
Working knowledge of payment systems
Ability and willingness to learn
Strong analytical skills and detail orientation, demonstrating understanding of data and product performance
Extensive cross-functional team experience with demonstrated results
Knowledge of EMV specifications, specifically EMV 3DS, and background in 3DS 1.0
Preferred: 7 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 5 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree, or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
Understanding of payment processing and VisaNet/payment ecosystem
Understanding of Digital Identity platforms and constructs and emerging biometrics capabilities
Travel 5-10% of the time
