About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create high-quality environment assets, props, and modular architecture;
- Set up assets in Unreal Engine, including scene placement, material assignment, and material adjustments;
- Optimize assets for real-time performance while maintaining high visual quality;
- Collaborate daily with the Art Director, Producer, Lead Artist, and Client to ensure assets meet project requirements and artistic direction.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in the game development industry in a similar role;
- Solid knowledge of modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter);
- Solid understanding of modular asset creation and PBR workflow;
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 5.x, importing assets, applying materials;
- Ability to create high-quality, optimized assets for real-time rendering;
- Solid knowledge of baking techniques (normal maps, ambient occlusion, additional maps);
- Basic knowledge of lighting and post-processing in game engines;
- English level: Intermediate or higher.
- **Will be a plus:**
- Experience with World Partition/ Level Streaming;
- Understanding of technical constraints (memory, performance).
