About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create high-quality materials, trim sheets, atlases, and textures based on provided references and project requirements;
  • Implement, optimize, and fine-tune materials in Unreal Engine to ensure high visual quality and real-time performance;
  • Collaborate closely with Environment Artists, Technical Artists, the Art Director, Producer, and Lead Artist to ensure consistency with the project's artistic vision and technical requirements;
  • Maintain and update internal documentation related to material creation pipelines and workflows.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in the game development industry in a similar role;
  • Solid knowledge of Substance Painter and Designer software;
  • Experience in creating tiled textures, trims, and atlases;
  • Full understanding of the PBR workflow;
  • Experience working with UE 5.x, including scene setup, importing assets, and applying materials;
  • Basic knowledge of any industry 3D software;
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
