About the role
- Research and identify prospective clients across the gaming ecosystem.
- Generate new opportunities through outbound email, phone, LinkedIn, and digital campaigns.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, need, and timing.
- Engage prospects to understand their goals, challenges, and development needs.
- Maintain consistent outreach cadences and follow-ups to build early interest.
- Clearly communicate Virtuos’ value proposition and service capabilities.
- Schedule discovery meetings and hand off well-qualified opportunities to Business Development Managers.
- Manage early-stage pipeline activity in Salesforce with accurate, up-to-date records.
- Track outreach, lead status, and conversion progress; flag pipeline gaps or bottlenecks.
- Share relevant market and competitive insights; support sales and marketing campaigns and events.
- Stay informed on video game industry trends, emerging studios, publishers, and evolving development needs.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to research prospects and generate qualified leads.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working toward targets.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Experience in B2B services, SaaS, or technology sales (preferred).
- Familiarity with the video games or entertainment industry (preferred).
- Experience with sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) (preferred).
