About the role

  • Create modular environment kits (walls, floors, props) for building game levels
  • Ensure assets follow visual direction, scale, and performance budgets
  • Collaborate with level designers to ensure kits are efficient and reusable
  • Maintain consistency across materials, lighting, and detail levels
  • Interpret concept art and location briefs into 3D environments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Solid knowledge of modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter)
  • Modelling - Architectural and set dressing
  • World Art (Level Art Nature) is a level building, terrain (nature), and overall scene/ set dressing and optimisation
  • Experience with tiled textures and trim sheets
  • Full understanding of the PBR workflow
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 5, including scene setup, importing assets, and applying materials
  • Ability to create high-quality, optimized assets for real-time environments
  • Understanding of modular environment design principles
  • Familiarity with baking techniques (normal maps, ambient occlusion)
  • Basic knowledge of lighting and post-processing in game engines
  • English B1+ (speaking)
