About the role
- Create modular environment kits (walls, floors, props) for building game levels
- Ensure assets follow visual direction, scale, and performance budgets
- Collaborate with level designers to ensure kits are efficient and reusable
- Maintain consistency across materials, lighting, and detail levels
- Interpret concept art and location briefs into 3D environments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Solid knowledge of modeling and texturing software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter)
- Modelling - Architectural and set dressing
- World Art (Level Art Nature) is a level building, terrain (nature), and overall scene/ set dressing and optimisation
- Experience with tiled textures and trim sheets
- Full understanding of the PBR workflow
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 5, including scene setup, importing assets, and applying materials
- Ability to create high-quality, optimized assets for real-time environments
- Understanding of modular environment design principles
- Familiarity with baking techniques (normal maps, ambient occlusion)
- Basic knowledge of lighting and post-processing in game engines
- English B1+ (speaking)
