About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, social outreach, and networking
- Qualify inbound leads generated through marketing channels
- Identify client pain points and align them with VTG’s service offerings
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate and organized records within the CRM
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline goals
- Stay informed on MSP industry trends, cybersecurity concerns, and emerging technologies
- Represent VTG professionally in all interactions with prospects and partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and articulate technical concepts
- Basic understanding of business operations and customer service principles
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with prospects
- 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation
- Proven ability to meet activity targets in a sales-driven environment
- Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Demonstrated resilience, persistence, and a positive attitude in the face of rejection
