About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with prospects to qualify potential customers for the Account Executive team
- Develop a working knowledge of the utility industry, including DERs, DERMS, demand response, and decarbonization
- Research and identify organizations that align with Virtual Peaker’s ideal customer profile
- Plan, execute, and iterate on multi-channel outbound campaigns
- Engage and qualify inbound leads and outbound prospects
- Effectively partner and work across the Sales and Marketing teams
- Support Marketing events through outreach and attendance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM and adjacent tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
- 2+ years of sales/business development experience preferred
- Business-to-business communication and prospecting skills
- Active listening and relationship building abilities
- Research, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience using and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Basic understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS)
