About the role
- Support month-end close processes, reporting cycles, and strategic finance initiatives.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and maintenance of financial documentation.
- Participate in cross-functional projects where finance meets tech: automation, data-driven insights, and systems testing.
- Identify inefficiencies and tasks suitable for automation; collaborate with Automation Engineers to implement solutions.
- Work hands-on with tools like NetSuite, Stripe, and Salesforce and gain exposure to emerging technologies.
- Contribute meaningful responsibilities from day one and grow in a role blending finance, systems thinking, and operational strategy.
Requirements
- Currently studying Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s) at a university in Colombia [Must-have].
- Passion for finance operations and automation.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Proactive attitude — you ask, learn, and propose.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Availability for 5-6 months, full-time, from September or October 2025.
- Important note: apply if you meet 70%+ of the criteria; fast learners encouraged.
- Bonus: Experience or interest in Excel, Google Sheets, or scripting (Python, SQL, Zapier).
- Bonus: Exposure to finance platforms like NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce (or similar).
