About the role
- Support month-end close processes, reporting cycles, and strategic finance initiatives.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team on cross-functional projects linking finance and tech.
- Contribute to automation initiatives, systems testing, and data-driven insights.
- Identify inefficiencies and tasks suitable for automation; work with Automation Engineers to implement solutions.
- Get hands-on experience with tools like NetSuite, Stripe, and Salesforce.
- Take on meaningful responsibilities and contribute to impactful projects from day one.
Requirements
- Currently studying Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s) at a university in Colombia [Must-have].
- Passion for finance operations and automation.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Proactive attitude — you ask, learn, and propose.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Availability for 5-6 months, full-time, starting September or October 2025.
- Must meet ~70% of the criteria; fast learners encouraged to apply.
- Bonus: Experience or interest in Excel, Google Sheets, or scripting (Python, SQL, Zapier).
- Bonus: Exposure to finance platforms like NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce, or similar.
- Bonus: Previous internship or project work in finance, operations, or automation.
