About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute the Data Security Platform vision and roadmap across on-premises, cloud-hosted, and hybrid deployment models
Balance customer needs, partner requirements, developer experience, and technical feasibility in product decisions
Champion developer experience by understanding developer needs and refining APIs, integrations, documentation, tooling, and resources
Collaborate with engineering to improve developer tooling and platform accessibility
Engage with developers and partners to understand workflows, compliance requirements, security challenges, and use cases
Conduct customer interviews, analyze usage data, and synthesize stakeholder feedback
Lead interoperability strategy with external key management systems, content extraction tools, tagging solutions, and other enterprise security infrastructure
Identify and prioritize integration opportunities that increase platform value

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
3–7 years of product management experience in enterprise B2B
Strong preference for experience in enterprise security, data protection, or data-centric solutions
Deep understanding of enterprise software development, deployment models, and on-premises versus cloud-hosted solutions
Familiarity with hybrid architectures and enterprise IT decision-making processes
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts
Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, integrations, system architecture, and developer tooling
Foundational knowledge of data security, privacy, and encryption concepts
Familiarity with FedRAMP, CMMC, and ITAR compliance frameworks
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize diverse information
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across technical, business, and executive audiences
Demonstrated ability and eagerness to learn new concepts, especially in security, compliance, and enterprise environments
Comfort with ambiguity and a growth mindset
Preferred: experience building products for large enterprises with strict compliance requirements
Preferred: familiarity with key management systems, content discovery, or data classification solutions
Preferred: experience with developer-focused products, platform-as-a-service offerings, and SDKs
Preferred: understanding of enterprise data governance and regulatory compliance frameworks
Preferred: exposure to cryptography, encryption standards, or data protection technologies
Preferred: experience with agile development methodologies and product management frameworks
