About the role

  • Lead the product lifecycle for Virtru's suite of email security solutions, including Google Workspace integrations and Data Security Gateway.
  • Own and drive our email security platform that protects sensitive communications across enterprise and government organizations.
  • Work closely with Product Management Leadership to shape the roadmap for solutions that seamlessly integrate with Google Workspace and other collaboration platforms.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise email infrastructure, security patterns, and the evolving threat landscape that drives customer needs. Success means delivering products that not only meet technical requirements but solve real-world security challenges for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.
  • Define and execute product vision for email security solutions, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, and technical feasibility; collaborate with leadership to set strategic priorities and resource allocation.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deeply understand enterprise customer workflows, security requirements, and pain points; conduct customer interviews and analyze usage data to inform decisions.
  • Serve as the central hub between Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to translate business requirements into clear product specifications and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Work with Product Marketing to develop positioning, launch strategies, and sales enablement materials; support competitive analysis and pricing strategy development.
  • Utilize Virtru's AI-powered analytics tools to analyze product performance, customer behavior, and market trends; define and track key metrics to measure product success and guide improvements.
  • Present product updates, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, customers, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Product Management Experience: 5-7+ years of product management in B2B SaaS, preferably enterprise security, collaboration tools, or email solutions
  • Email & Enterprise IT Understanding: Strong conceptual knowledge of email systems, SMTP protocols, enterprise email infrastructure, and typical email security deployment patterns
  • Security Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with email security threats, data loss prevention, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP)
  • Enterprise Software Experience: Understanding of enterprise sales cycles, IT decision-making processes, and multi-stakeholder buying environments
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts without requiring hands-on coding experience. Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and technical documentation
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills with experience using product analytics tools and making data-driven product decisions
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across technical and business audiences
  • Preferred skills:
  • Experience with Google Workspace, M365, or other collaboration platform ecosystems
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity or data protection solutions
  • Understanding of government/defense market requirements (CMMC, ITAR, FedRAMP)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and product management frameworks
  • Background in enterprise gateway or infrastructure solutions
