About the role
- Collaborate with product management, marketing, and other engineers to design, develop, test, and deliver new software solutions to market
- Develop and deliver well written prototype integrations using agentic development tools, in a sprint.
- Stay on top of technology trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, and sharing what you’ve learned with others
- Offer up solutions and develop quality integrations highlighting Virtru capabilities working with partner software
- Building software that will meaningfully impact how people approach data privacy
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where you'll touch a variety of projects and products
- Comfortable learning and developing with go, javascript, or java to build reliable, scalable background services
- Take ownership of the entire lifecycle and toolchain of an application from code to deployment
Requirements
- Strong experience with developing against APIs and SDK integrations
- 3+ years of experience in one the following languages:Go, Java, Javascript
- Familiarity with Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini Code, Code Copilot, or other agentic development tools
- Experience developing contract, unit, and integration tests manually and with agentic support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong demonstrable understanding of software design patterns
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Motivated by delivering customer value and impact.
