About the role
- Pick up established prospect funnel and move prospective clients through to contracting phase and close
- Leverage demand generation work from marketing team to create new opportunities
- Growth - Close new logo’s to provide Expected Enrollments
- Further promote Virta as an innovative online diabetes reversal solution
- Work closely with Virta team members to provide client/prospect feedback
- Work directly with SLEd team to support feedback on market
- Build internal relationships with Virta team members
- Learn the Virta story and begin pitching to prospective clients
- Begin outreach to prospects currently in the funnel
- Create and begin executing business plan for success
Requirements
- 5-7 years experience selling digital health solutions to the public space - Federal, State and Local
- Quantifiable history of hitting personal sales targets
- Ability to present clearly to key decision makers
- Consultative selling experience
- Ability to proactively manage pipeline
- Demonstrated collaboration with internal colleagues (marketing, product, ops, etc.) to support sales momentum
- A passion for improving the health of millions of people
- The ability to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment
- Existing relationships with key decision makers at large institutions or consulting houses that specialize in public sector (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Type 2 diabetes and of potential competitors (Preferred)
