About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the endpoint management strategy for a growing ecosystem of macOS devices
Drive Zero-Touch device provisioning and maintain accurate hardware inventory
Implement endpoint tools and establish device trust frameworks using tools such as Jamf and Okta
Administer, optimize, and scale the Single Sign-On environment
Partner with Engineering and Security teams to roll out Privileged Access Management solutions
Deploy Device Health Assurance protocols using enterprise tools
Architect and deploy IAM workflows to automate cross-departmental processes with IT Support, Recruiting, and HR
Develop proposals and strategies for a Robotic Process Automation platform for back-office operations
Audit systems and processes to identify and execute cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with Security to architect and maintain a Zero Trust security model
Ensure IT infrastructure meets SOC2, HIPAA, and HITRUST compliance standards
Manage API key issuance and integrations according to internal security policies
Oversee and maintain Data Loss Prevention protocols
Serve as a Tier 2 escalation point for complex IT support inquiries
Participate in an on-call rotation covering approximately 20% of nights and weekends
Within 90 days, plan Device Trust implementation, improve an automation workflow, and optimize Mac fleet provisioning and inventory accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator, IT Engineer, or senior escalation-level IT Support role
Experience ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Solid understanding of IT security fundamentals, including Zero Trust concepts
Experience with Okta SSO configuration, user lifecycle management, and Workflows for advanced automation
Enterprise Mac endpoint and macOS administration experience
Experience with Jamf strongly preferred
Successful design and implementation of repeatable AI-enabled workflows addressing team bottlenecks and improving efficiency
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Must follow Virta’s security and privacy procedures when handling HIPAA-governed patient information
