💰 $80,000 - $90,000 per year
About the role
- Lead a diverse team of 12-15 Health Coaches and own team metrics and outcomes while ensuring safe and high quality delivery of the Virta Treatment
- Manage coach capacity, diligently complete manager admin tasks, and support individual coach development
- Create and maintain a collaborative environment of trust, problem solving, and growth
- Encourage opportunities for teammates to collaborate, mentor each other and share best practices to elevate member care
- Monitor and own coach and team performance through monitoring key metrics to identify high performers and actively manage underperformers through coaching and performance management
- Provide guidance, coaching, and consistent feedback to all teammates
- Assist and support coaches as an expert in our coaching methods, internal systems, processes, and technology
- Encourage a solution-oriented culture and iterate and improve processes
- Lead teammates through transitions and times of change with clear communication, empathy, and understanding
- Demonstrate and serve as a champion of the Virta culture and team values
- 90-day expectations: master Virta Treatment basics, become expert on coaching methods and systems, build relationships with coach managers and direct reports, understand KPIs and behaviors influencing metrics, complete audits and chart reviews, review member feedback and improve member experience
Requirements
- 3+ years people management experience (required)
- Experience in a digital health organization or customer service support role (strongly preferred)
- Prior experience (1+ year) coaching or counseling members in a clinical and/or behavioral setting (strongly preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attentiveness to detail
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (application asks this as required)
- Ability to follow HIPAA security and privacy procedures (training provided)
