About the role
- Lead all aspects of revenue accounting, including month-end close, analysis and reporting, controls considerations and technical accounting under ASC 606
- Oversee contract review for revenue recognition implications
- Lead and mentor a team of two revenue accountants, providing coaching and professional development
- Partner with Strategic Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Operations to support accurate forecasting, reporting, and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and controls to support scale and operational excellence
- Support external audits and reviews
- Assist the Accounting team as needed with ad hoc tasks and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA with strong technical knowledge of ASC 606
- 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and industry, with at least 3+ years focused on revenue accounting
- Experience in a fast-paced, public company environment
- 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams and developing talent
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable processes and controls
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally
- Comfortable working in a fully remote setting
