About the role

  • Pick up established prospect funnel and move prospective clients through to contracting phase and close
  • Leverage demand generation work from marketing team to create new opportunities
  • Growth - Close new logo’s to provide Expected Enrollments
  • Work with customer success and the health plan team to maximize enrollments and expansions leading to increased revenue for Virta.
  • Leverage and educate ASO partners for territory pull through
  • Further promote Virta as an innovative online obesity and diabetes reversal solution
  • Work closely with Vitra team members to provide client/prospect feedback
  • Build internal relationships with Virta team members
  • Learn the Virta story and begin pitching to prospective clients
  • Begin outreach to prospects currently in the funnel
  • Create and begin executing business plan for success

Requirements

  • 5+ years selling an innovative healthcare solution to HR leadership at large self funded clients
  • Quantifiable history of hitting personal sales targets
  • Ability to present clearly to key decision makers
  • Consultative selling experience
  • Ability to proactively manage pipeline
  • Demonstrated collaboration with internal colleagues (marketing, product, ops, etc.) to support sales momentum
  • A passion for improving the health of millions of people
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment
  • Bonus points for:
  • Existing relationships with key decision makers at large organizations
  • Knowledge of Type 2 diabetes and of potential competitors
