About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist customers in managing day-to-day transactions in the trading portfolio
  • Be the key internal contact for all imported items, handled by the BWAB International group
  • Require continuous contact with the BWAB international sourcing group
  • Implement day-to-day position updating, weekly product flow updates, inventory monitoring, and product allocations
  • Continue to expand and generate sales opportunities within the Specialty Grains sales group
  • Identify domestic market needs and manage sourcing opportunities for BWAB International group
  • Manage cross-department meetings and coordinate information flow
  • Work at the Int'l office 1-2 days per week as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline that provides a strong background in logical reasoning, math, quantitative and analytical skills
  • High level of intelligence and academic achievement as demonstrated through GPA or other measures
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and persuasive skills in person and over the phone
  • Efficient and effective use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Proactive sales skills and abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret trade journals, product specs, industry regulations, sales performance, and market trend information
  • Maintain a safe driving record and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel overnight and domestically/internationally as assigned
