Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare the monthly accounts and reconcile balance sheet and sub-ledger accounts
Responsible for month end close of assigned subsidiaries to strict deadlines
Responsible for revenue recognition including deferred revenue
Prepare P&L variance analysis for assigned subsidiaries
Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts in a timely manner
Support the project teams with tasks for process improvement and change
Support audit requests as needed
Provide accounting support for management in financial analysis, budgeting and other reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
CPA preferred
3-5 years experience in accounting, with extensive experience in month-end close, journal entry preparation, and general ledger account reconciliations
Interested in developing technical proficiency in accounting matters
A team player with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Good business acumen and an ability to work across boundaries and cultures
Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal are essential for this position
Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar accounting system would be advantageous
Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines, within a fast moving environment
Solidly intermediate Excel skills, with strong working knowledge of basic formulas, vlookup, and pivot tables
