About the role

  • Collaborating with internal teams on delivering a quality product
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on course content regarding misalignment with course development standards, functionality and features issues, and issues regarding browser/device support
  • Playing an active role in improving processes, products, activities, and standards
  • Playing an active role in the meeting of product schedules

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience working as a proofreader, editor, QA tester or equivalent position
  • Outstanding ability to detect and identify anomalies, bugs, inconsistencies, etc.
  • College degree preferred in a related field
  • Strong proactive communication skills
  • Excellent English grammar and written communication skills
  • Must be self-directed
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to get the job done right
  • Preferred, but not required: Experience with GitHub
  • Experience with testing to ADA standards (Section 508)
  • Experience with testing to WCAG standards
  • Experience with multimedia formats (ie .jpgs, mp4s, mp3s, closed caption files, etc)
