About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead generation and prospecting.
- Identifying and creating new business opportunities with potential customers.
- Driving sales through industry partners and participating resellers.
- Carrying out preliminary assessment of sites for their Demand Response potential.
- Preparing and delivering presentations, proposals.
- Negotiating and agreeing sales contracts.
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
- Accurately reporting on sales progress.
- Participating in seminars, trade shows and other suitable marketing opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Motivated to lead change and inspire progress toward a greener, more sustainable world.
- A demonstratable history of sales success.
- 10+ years’ sales experience of selling complex solutions to B2B customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – demonstrable relationship-building experience amongst a range of stakeholders.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capability, both technical and commercial.
- Professionalism – articulate, innovative and client-service orientated.
- Self-motivated individual with integrity and the ability to be office-based and to work remotely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ambition to develop as a market-leading sales professional.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Power Point etc.)
