About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead generation and prospecting.
  • Identifying and creating new business opportunities with potential customers.
  • Driving sales through industry partners and participating resellers.
  • Carrying out preliminary assessment of sites for their Demand Response potential.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations, proposals.
  • Negotiating and agreeing sales contracts.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Accurately reporting on sales progress.
  • Participating in seminars, trade shows and other suitable marketing opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Motivated to lead change and inspire progress toward a greener, more sustainable world.
  • A demonstratable history of sales success.
  • 10+ years’ sales experience of selling complex solutions to B2B customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – demonstrable relationship-building experience amongst a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capability, both technical and commercial.
  • Professionalism – articulate, innovative and client-service orientated.
  • Self-motivated individual with integrity and the ability to be office-based and to work remotely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ambition to develop as a market-leading sales professional.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Power Point etc.)
