About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct intake, screenings, needs assessments, and safety evaluations.
  • Provide individualized case management, advocacy, referrals, and resource coordination.
  • Support clients with educational, medical, legal, immigration, and social service needs.
  • Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with mandated reporting requirements and confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate comprehensive services.
  • Represent VIP at community meetings, outreach events, and stakeholder gatherings.
  • Assist with data collection, grant reporting, and program evaluation efforts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of case management or direct service experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, victim services, and violence prevention.
  • Experience working with diverse, immigrant, and Latinx communities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality.
